LOVE ME LIKE YOU DON'T
Your love was like a river
I couldn’t hold onto it more than once
It’s like a single grain of sand
It’s entirely impossible to hold on to it
You see – although your love is like
A million stars dashed across the diamond skies
It is only a fool who will think of possessing it
For even in Wonderland
You can’t be mine
So just love me like you don’t.

Falling through a rabbit hole was easy
Falling out love with you is impossible
I watched you through my tear gland
You stride in pride cos I have become your prize
Crown jewel you own
I loathe this emotion you claim you have
The jokes on me
Every day you say to this heart
I love you
Well Mister
For my heart’s sake love me like you don’t

Say my name with your seductive voice
I will fall for it
You walk in heels
I think with my head
But I am head over heels with you
What kind of love
Makes me so much illogical
You are like the sun
Loving you will burn me alive
But what option do I have
Love me – love me like you don’t

Fill up my frame with a deep confused emotion
Let me hope or a delicate touch
Then throw stones at this glass house you built
Let me explode all over the panes
And free myself of my excruciating pain
I want to be in pieces as long as I am free
My body, my mind, my soul….
Tired from you
And you whisper
“Love me like you don’t”

Robot Poet

I am but a robot poet
What I write comes from
A stock of words
Planted in me by my maker
So if I write a poem and you node to it
Don’t thank me, thank my maker.
Yet, the robot poet has a mind of its own
What if he write a poem against his master
May he suggest that he has been corrupted
By his master’s greatest enemy?
Or can we suggest that it is a great scheme
By His Maker?
No, the robot poet is a master to his own self
He can create a whole world on its own.
He is his own enemy and own salvation.
The robot poet’s life is directed by his own soul
But is marked by his master.
At the end of the day, we are all but a robot poets

Body Piano by J.Y. Frimpong, S. Kojo Frimping and Kodwo Hybrid

SKojo

Your body is a heavenly orchestra
Which breaks my soul with joy
You are a romantic poem
Like the sound of a piano
Let me hold on to your body
Like it was a cello, like the one
I wanted once upon a hallucination
Let's forget about time like tomorrow belongs to us
Your body is  a hymn,
The key is like a landscape which slopes high and low
Mesmerising me like a love spell
I can't take my eyes of you for a second
Like the skies and the rainbow
I feel your presence like the birds singing
Songs of redemption to the skies
Your body is a song but a parable
Which no one understands but me

JYF
I dance to the rhythm of your piano
Like a fetish priest whose mind is filled with a million ecstatic tunes!
Each night, my fingers strike beautiful chords
On your body like it was a piano.
Wait! Your body is a piano.
The melody it produces transcends this world, space and time.
I sing to the tune from it in a falsetto.
Its tune is distinct
At times, its like a synthesizer
Other times, I hear it like a drum and move along to its beautiful stroke.
I sing of your body!

Hybrid
Since I heard you like to strum your fingers on keys
I wanted to become a piano
So you can run your fingers up and down the strings in my heart
and in return I produce the music in your eyes
But tonight hold your breath
and allow me to strum my fingers
on your ivory and ebony pearls
stroke the music out of your pianoforte
Hold you close so I can feel the rhythm of your strings grow on my lips
The high and low of your notes
The soft pitches and sighs of your octave
Be my el piano Italiano
So we can roam the colorful streets of Rome and Paris
Making music with the click of our heels,
the sound of our kiss under the lamp post
the swiftness of our laughter
As I leave my fingerprints on every curve of your grande piano

Electric Castle (Volts) written by J.Y. Frimpong & Maame Afua Agyeiwaa

https://igcdn-photos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/t51.2885-15/11007852_1557482827833092_1264441392_n.jpg

In this Polariod, we smiled
And made pretense
But deep in the verandahs
Of our heart,
Our love was orphaned
From the very start.

It cries of the daily circles
We run
Yet, we chose to to believe everything
Was alright

In this electric castle,
Everything in it is misery
This castle was built with bricks
Of hatred and lies

It was built with kisses
Drenched in betrayal
A perfect castle of lies
A castle that breaks our heart
To make us live again

This electric Castle --
Electrocutes us
Yet, we don't want to let go
But lets keep the pretense
Lets keep on decorating the castle

We knew we are over
But we kept on going
We were ostriches
With wings that could not soar

But we stayed in this castle to feed
Our lovely illusions.
These gates bar us in
The titles King and Queen
Of hearts which long ago
Stopped beating with passion

But now beat only to keep us breathing
Keep us from going at each other.
Because we are tired
Of the revelations of truth we open
When we pour our hearts out

The wreching pain
I knew truth hurts but I didn't
Know it could maim
The fear of loving again.

But stuck in this electric castle
that shocks my heart
Charging again and again
200, 360, 366
Then it beats once more
I only wish it had had dumsor

FULL VERSION OF ELECTRIC CASTLE out soon. It has poems like Volts, Poisonous love, Love me like you don't, Computer Love etc. All poems were written by JYF and Agyeiwaa

Short Story: How to kiss a girl in 3 minutes (Explicit)

She was the most annoying girl I had ever met. I found her to be too vain of her beauty; the way she walked, the way she talked, the way she made other girls feel intimidated! Oh my God! I don't know what I liked about that girl except for that her sexy little mouth of hers. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen!

I used to have wet dreams about me kissing her on the moon. At times, I would dream about her pressing her flat chest on my bony chest with my hands over her back like a grand piano. Certain times, I would dream about kissing and licking all her crimson lipstick like a harmonica. The wildest wet dream I had was when she served me with breakfast and held the spoon in between her lips and used it to stir my Lipton. That morning, I woke up and I had to throw my boxer shorts away. That girl is a "thing" of the devil! I can't believe she made me spend all my monthly allowance on underwear. Seriously, who does that?

The year was 2005 and I had heard about the "all knowing" internet and what it had in stock for me. That day, I run out of the boarding house to ask the internet "how to kiss Miss Stepsons." So I took a car to downtown and entered an internet café. I asked the attendant "Can you please ask the computer how I can make Miss Stepsons fall in love with me?" He looked at me with a what-do-you-mean kind of look. I smiled and I repeated the question again.

He told me to sit down and pay some amount of money, which I gladly did. He sat beside me and typed something on the keyboard. The screen went white and I saw "Google". He got up and told me to type the question I wanted the computer to answer for me and went to attend to other people. You see -- there are things words cannot describe and one of them is how I typed "How to kiss Miss Stepson in 3 minutes". Every touch on the keyboard was filled with excitement because I knew I had found the right cure for my problem.

I called the attendant again and he showed me how i could open a hyperlink and read what was in there. For thirty minutes, I sat there reading avalanche of articles of how to "hit" on a girl. So I stood up and went back to school with all the excitement within me. I was going to kiss Miss Stepsons and no one was going to stop me.

It was a Friday and when the bell had ran for breakfast, I quickly went out to stand on the walkway. There, I saw Miss Stepsons cat walking! She had painted her lips with heavy lip gloss. She looked helplessly romantic, I just couldn't wait to "drink" all the lip gloss on her lips. She neared me.

"Hello bitch, can I talk to you for a minute."

She looked at me with a weird expression which bespoke confusion. Indeed, the internet is all-knowing!

"Are you talking to me!"

The internet is a good psychologist! She indeed knew what Miss Stepsons was going say.

"Yes bitch you! Come and suck a dick".

What happened again was the last thing I want to remember. The least among them was a slap across my face (which the internet didn't warn me of. Owsh, that bony hands of hers! Not forgetting, the acres of land I weeded as a punishment for the offensive words I used (which the internet never predicted! The internet needs to read Psychology 101 all over again!)

But on the whole, I never wet dreamed about Miss Stepsons again, I also never used my monthly allowance to buy fresh underwear again. Deep inside, this was the reason why I had so much hatred for the internet and also why I restricted my children from having access to the internet.

Madam Mook

They said she hid in the cupboard, they also said she wore a white bridal dress, they equally said she was the scariest ghost that had ever lived. So many were the things were said about her - some mythical, some a figment of the narrator's imagination, the only factual thing about Madam Mook was that we all feared her, likewise the cupboard that stood at the corner of Primary 4C.

We had heard the narrative of how Madam Mook came to inhabit the cupboard so much that there was no single soul in the school who couldn't narrate it off head. Surprisingly, everyone had a personal encounter with Madam Mook. Most of these stories were simply mind games. I remember once that I came to school one early morning and as I passed by Primary 4c, I heard noise emanating from the cupboard and I automatically took it to be the handiwork of Madam Mook. That day, I kept on twisting the story to make it nicer on every narration. It was so with everyone!

It so happened that one day, my parents did not come for me earlier. It was Five o'clock and the school was empty. As I walked around praying that my parents would come quickly for me, I heard quiet footsteps behind me. I recoiled! Indeed, the only thing that came to my mind was "Madam Mook". There was no way around it - she was going to hunt me. I began to shiver, thinking things no human ever dared to think! Indeed, I was going to die, I just knew it. I started reminiscing all the happy times I had had in life. I was going to die. I heard something move swiftly, I turned -- no one was there.

My worst fear became a reality when I heard my name being mentioned in a ghostly manner. "This is the raspy voice my friends have been talking of" I muttered to myself with all the bones in my body shaking.  I saw a shadow move towards Primary 4C. I followed the shadow and to my utter surprise, the cupboard was opened a bit half concealing a piece of old bridal dress. "Madam Mook is out! She is out to torment me"

I heard mumming voices; it was some kind of glumly falsetto. "Open me up boy! Open me up!" I heard.

I couldn't stand it anymore! I run but immediately I reached the door, it closed and locked by itself.

"Open me up! I have waited so long to get out of this prison. Open me up or die with me" it repeated raspier than before.

With all the courage I had with me, I slowly walked towards the cupboard and tried to open it. I shut it up quickly and the voice repeated this time louder and angrier than before "Open me up, open me up."

This thing of evil was bent on killing me. The voice still did not stop, it kept on increasing in pitch and gloominess. I said my last prayer -- "Lord, I have to go to heaven. Into your hands I commit my spirits" this was the only thing that came to my mind.

I held the doornail and opened the cupboard. I just lost vision, I don’t...............

 *************************************

I opened my eyes and realized that I was at the hospital, they asked me what I saw in there. I couldn't hold up myself to tell them what I saw in there. I came to school and learnt that the cupboard had been burnt. The headmistress didn't bother to look at the contents of the cupboard. She hired men to bring out of the classroom and she burnt it there and then. That class was locked afterwards, Primary 4c was transferred to the basement. As much as my friends tried, they couldn't get a word from me about what I saw even up to this day. Madam Mook had in truth escaped -- I saw her, she was so beautiful, she even thanked me. It was because of her that I fainted, it was something else!

KISS

Kiss me on the lips

And you shall know

How pure my heart is.

Kiss me on my hand

And you shall know

How faultless my friendship is.

Kiss me on my feet

Betray me not by your kiss

Don't kiss me

Because you want to say goodbye

By the time

You walk out of the door

I would have told you

How fine I would have been

If you are out of my life

I would do so by a kiss.

There are a million and one

Meanings to a kiss

But one of them is the

Purest of love I have for you.

FOREVER

Let us die in peace, let us live in misery
The stars can fade we will be shining
We hope for life but prepare for death
Is death coming for me today or never?
Whether we die young or at hundred
We don't have the faintest idea about the future
But we shouldn't stop planning towards it
We suffer and cry but
Life is a sharp knife we buy
We never know when it is going to cut us
Can you imagine a world where none of us die?
Can you imagine the joy on this battlefield
When we kill death?
Can you imagine a world
Where there is no finish line?
Well this poem is written by a blind man

Let us march to the battlefield
Some are going to die,
Some are going to live to write this tale.
Sooner or later,
The battle bell will be heard
And we shall know no longer and
Appreciate the human beings
Our enemies are.

In this life,
Some are the foundation
Whilst we are the superstructure
Whilst others are just the finishing.
We each play
Our part to make this music complete.
This music was composed by
A deaf man!

So many are the songs that couldn't be sang,
So many are the destinies that never came to pass
So many are the lives that never lived
Well this poem was written by
Someone who never lived

We await the melody from the bell
We stand ready to fight
Sooner or is it later,
A friend will perish by the legs of a passing horse.
Sooner or maybe never
This war will all end
The emperor will boost for having won the war,
Sooner or now,
Someone will die forever
With all un-sang song vanish into forever

We await the melody from the bell
We stand ready to fight
Sooner or is it later,
A friend will perish by the legs of a passing horse.
Sooner or maybe never
This war will all end
The emperor will boost for having won the war,
Sooner or now,
Someone will die forever
With all un-sang song vanish into forever
This poem was written by one that was never at the war
