Short Story: Lunatic! #StateOfMyMind

Having had a dream which had to be interpreted, I set off with a very disturbed mind. This was not the first time I had had dreamed such dreams but you see, I was tired of everything and everyone. Yet this dreams was and must be interpreted.

Now, while I sat in a car ready to be disappointed by the day. The car stopped to pick someone -- an old woman to be precise -- she had all the looks of a old woman pulled out of "a Jesus film." She wore a simple white blouse and a long white skirt and had covered her hair with a black and white stripped veil wore in an ancient fashion.

The trotro mate opened the gate for her and she loudly protested that she wanted to sit at the front instead. I found this very strange and laudable. Strange in the sense that women and old women in this regards always shun sitting beside by the driver for reasons best known to society and for her to protest to sit there, I found it laudable.

It was not long that I heard her mutter something about guilty people spending life in jail. I was fixated on the dreams that had to be interpreted so much that I gave it no attention.

It must be noted that she sat beside an old man (they looked like a couple) and having told the trotro mate that he will alight, the woman gestured to the old man to jump over her thighs and get down. Everyone was annoyed by this remark. In addition to it being ridiculous, it was also lunatic for such an idea to struck a woman's mind.

Then almost everyone started running bare-faced insulting commentaries on her face. Then she remarked "You all are Devils, I rebuke you in my name. Yes! I am Jesus. You are all Devils. You'll go to hell. I can rouse a thousand stones to turn to monsters to eat you up. I can also mould the air into dinosaurs to destroy this car."

Everyone burst into laughter. Here was an old woman -- weak and plain with not more than ten teeth in her mouth claiming to be Jesus. The old man got down eventually (she never got down for him to get down though).

The trotro mate got down not to get this woman out of the car to roll on the ground and laugh. Everyone concluded she was a mental case with no one having the time or the courage to drag her to the psychiatry. She was lunatic, we all knew it but just like the madmen on the street, no one had the time to send her to the hospital.
